Barbara F Sherman, IIDA - Associate Barbara has over ten years of experience in interior design for performing and fine arts, hospitality, educational and healthcare design. She has been responsible for design concept development and interior color, materials and furniture specifications for many projects including the restored and expanded 2600-seat Civic Theater in Akron, OH; the 900-seat theater at The Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts in Hartford, CT; and new theaters, restaurants and hospitality spaces aboard Celebrity Cruises and Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines’ newest fleets of ships. Barbara has an Interior Design degree from the New England School of Art and Design, Boston, MA; a Masters of Social Work from Boston University, Boston, MA; and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Brandeis University, Waltham, MA.
