Studio B, Adventure of the Seas
Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines

Studio B was conceived as a new kind of shipboard performance venue. It is an interchangeable, multi-function, 900-seat arena featuring the first ice rink at sea. With a retractable deck cover, telescopic seating and a raised stage, the space can also be reconfigured as a theater or television studio. Performances include ice shows, game shows, stand-up comedy and live music.

The entrance brings patrons past RCTV, Voyager's television station. The audience then skirts past glass-walled video, lighting and sound booths at the top of the arena. From that vantage point, there is a dramatic view of the ice and the stage beyond. Studio B is outfitted with rigging that can fly performers over the ice. A giant video wall, supplemental monitors and theatrical lighting create a multi-media experience, setting a new standard for the cruise industry.
