Howard Community College, Arts Building

The rural campus of Howard Community College, a rich intellectual, cultural and economic asset in Howard County, is attended by 43% of county residents. This new 77,750 sf building is the second in a series of major development projects being implemented from the college's 2000 Master Plan. Wilson Butler Architects is working with the project's design lead, Design Collective Inc. of Baltimore, MD to design its new Visual and Performing Arts building for music, theatre, dance and visual arts.

Wilson Butler Architects is responsible for the design of the project's three performance spaces, many of which will be shared with community groups. They include the 2320 sf Dance Rehearsal studio, the 2570 sf Recital Hall, and the 3200 sf Studio Theatre.
