Food Hall at Strawbridge and Clothier
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Seeking to boost storewide revenue by increasing daytime and afternoon foot traffic, the Strawbridge and Clothier department store chose to remodel the former men's clothing department store into a 9,000 sf food hall featuring a full selection of prepared and packaged take-home food, candy and ice cream.

Central deli islands are surrounded by specialty "shops" that offer food as well as kitchen accessories, cookbooks and related wares. Cost of construction was $1,200,000.
