I was born in Michigan and lived there
for 8 years. I then moved to the land of cheese and maple syrup with my
parents. At some point in grade school I discovered a strange love of
lines and mathematics. But it wasnt until my senior year in High
School that I decided to venture into the wonderful world of Architecture.
Previously I was keeping myself busy with competitive cheerleading and
the entire arts department (singing, musicals, photography, painting
).
To broaden my horizons, I attended the local tech center where my teacher,
Mr. Bouchard, told me he saw great things ahead for me and my next step
should be a small, inner-city school in Boston. And off I went!
Leaving Vermont was the best thing I could
have done, as Boston has brought so many wonderful opportunities and friends
my way. At Wentworth it was hard to tap into my artistic and theatrical
side, so I outsourced my talents by singing locally and working as a House
Manager at Blue Man Group Boston. Once I graduated I started promptly
at Wilson Butler Architects.
While I miss my family tons and I still
want to see the rest of the world, for now Im sticking around and
being that Boston lady who still cheers for the Tigers!
