Background
I will begin with my higher education. At Wycliffe College boarding school in Gloucestershire, I took A-Levels (equivalent to associate's degrees) in 3 subjects. My grades and skills then let me make the next stop at the University of Hertfordshire. There I received a degree in Model Design at the old DeHavilland/ British Aerospace building. I finished there with a 2-1, as Steven Spielberg was filming Saving Private Ryan and Band of Brothers on the airfield on the campus. My persistence and luck got me an unrelated job in Silicon Valley, California. There I worked as a model maker for Scale Models Unlimited making things for architects, NASA, pharmaceutical companies, Lawyers and developers. That company closed when the owner retired 2 years later, leaving me at a crossroads in life and at somewhat of a loss.

In that time I worked freelance for many various places including a toy maker, exhibition designer, exhibition modeler, and an architects in the England. 5 months later I was back in the USA.

I moved to New Haven, Connecticut for 3 years to work for KMCA. Our principal client was Cesar Pelli and Assoc, but we also did work for Kohn Penderson and Fox, Pickard Chilton, Centerbrook and many other high level architects. I worked on many great projects and learned the greatest amount of skill there. I worked on a New York Times HQ bid, Goldman Sachs HQ, ESPN HQ, Morgan Stanleys HQ, Orange Country and Dayton performing Arts centers and many designs for the tallest skyscraper including Rafael Vinoly's design for the WTC in NYC. When my visa was up for renewal I made the decision to move to Boston and work for Moshe Safdie and Assoc. Although that offer ended shortly after due to budget problems. I was fortunate enough to find a place here. It is great fun and I am very much a part of the team. I hope to be here for some time. I need a break from moving and change! I am now starting to put together my Green Card application, fingers crossed.
