Background
Over the course of the last decade, Barbara has gained broad
experience in the world of theater, cruise ship, institutional and healthcare
design. During her tenure here, she has been responsible for a large number
of projects from the initial stages through completion including design
concept development; research for historic restoration; interior color
and materials selection; materials and furniture specifications; and project
management. Barbara's projects have ranged from public and theater spaces
on board cruise ships to restored and new land based theaters to institutional
performing arts facilities. She has collaborated with consultants in developing
art programs and custom theater curtains for cruise ship projects and
custom carpets for all theaters. Barbara has presented a number of seminars
at interior design and cruise ship industry trade conventions. Prior to
joining the firm, she worked for four years at Shepley Bulfinch Richardson
& Abbott.
When
Barbara is not at work having a wonderful time in this creative environment,
she is either on an adventure exploring some new place in the world or
dreaming about the next trip.
