Limericks from Barbara

There once was an interior designer
Who thought there was nothing finer
Than to leave "Ye Olde SBRA"
Move a block and light years away
To be a Caribbean ocean liner designer.

There once was an extraordinary mother
Her children knew she was like no other
So incredibly devoted was she
Followed a daughter to Venice, Italy
That remarkable self sacrificing mother

There once was a woman on the go
Never has a person loved to travel so
With many continents left to explore
Like South America our neighbor next door *
Where she'll be next we never can know

This poet has come to the end of the line
And discovered she can no longer rhyme
Her decision to stop she did not rue
There was no more that she could do
Than go back to her work in design.

I hate it.
I avoid all tools.
I avoid them too especially during a lightning storm.
