Life is short, too short. So, whether it was the forces of destiny or merely coincidence that brought me here, I will never know. Nor does it matter. Here I am, now.

My motivations, goals, hopes... must revolve around some irresistible urge to re-order the universe. It is compulsive, but in architecture there must also be things that are unexpected. It's that sudden sense of discovery and surprise that catches us off-guard and then delights us. Everything in life should have this quality. In the end, it's the balance of thought and passion. Perfection unattained, but as the saying goes, it's how you get there. Sort of the means justifying the means, without ends. Our successes are measured in these terms.

Every so often one must breathe some fresh air in one's life. Clean out the cobwebs, then raise the bar another notch and try again. So here I am.
