Background
Rena is thrilled to be in the cast of Wilson Butler Architects. Since her debut she has worked on several cruise ship spaces for the newest and largest member of the Royal Caribbean fleet, GENESIS. Spaces that she worked on include high-end lounges, night-clubs and discos. Additionally, she is developing her performance space repertoire as the project manager for a 16,000 sf addition to the Kirby Arts Center at the Lawrenceville School in Lawrenceville, NJ. Originally from the Boston area, Rena realized soon after graduation from Cornell University that she longed to be in the city that never sleeps. She was very fortunate to have a 10 year run in New York City where she acquired a variety of architectural work experience including curtain wall design for some of the tallest buildings in the world and retail design of 250 square foot shop-in-shops, and several projects in between. In the spring of 2002, she returned to Boston. Her first four years in Boston were spent as the go-to teen center designer for a firm in specializing in community and aquatic center design.
