The Theatre Pavilion, Huntington Theatre Company
and Boston Center for the Arts
Mayor Thomas Menino announced a unique packaging of public and private funding for the Theatre Pavilion that will support the completion of these first new theatres in the Boston since the Wang (originally christened the Metropolitan) opened in 1925. WBLI's Project Manager and Project Architect Bruce Herrmann and Tom Hains were on hand for the festivities that were held on the partially-constructed stage of the Virginia Wimberly Theatre.
